Ingredients:
- 1-1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1-1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Toppings:
- 2 cups peaches
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
- Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together in a mixing bowl, then add butter, milk, beaten egg and vanilla; beat well for 2 minutes.
- Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9”x9”x2” pan and set aside.
- Mix all ingredients for topping well and pour over cake mixture. Sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
