Ingredients:
- 12 frozen rolls
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cooked sausage or pepperoni
- 5 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 cup. grated parmesan cheese
- Parsley flakes
Directions:
- Allow rolls to thaw for about 2 hours, until they are thawed but haven’t risen. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease muffin pan with nonstick spray.
- Stir butter, Italian seasoning and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
- Flatten the rolls out and spread them into 3-inch circles. Brush each circle with a small amount of garlic butter.
- Place small amount of mozzarella cheese and the same amount of pepperoni onto the center of each roll. Wrap the dough around the toppings and pinch the ball to seal it shut.
- Place the rolls seam-side down into muffin pan. Brush the tops of rolls with remaining butter. Sprinkle parmesan cheese evenly over the top of rolls. Top with a sprinkle of dried parsley flakes.
- Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown on top. Serve hot with warmed homemade or store-bought pizza sauce.
