Strawberry Shortcake Bars

Crust Ingredients:

  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Topping Ingredients:

  • 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups whipped topping
  • 4 cups diced strawberries
  • strawberry sundae topping

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, add butter, sugar, flour and salt. Process until crumbs form. Dump them out into the prepared pan and press down to form a crust.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges start to brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add in vanilla until combined. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled bars.
  5. Top with strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sundae topping last.
