Strawberry Shortcake Bars
Crust Ingredients:
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Topping Ingredients:
- 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 cups whipped topping
- 4 cups diced strawberries
- strawberry sundae topping
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a food processor, add butter, sugar, flour and salt. Process until crumbs form. Dump them out into the prepared pan and press down to form a crust.
- Bake for 25 minutes until the edges start to brown. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add in vanilla until combined. Fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled bars.
- Top with strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sundae topping last.
