Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole natural almonds
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. instant coffee powder
- 2 Tbsp. instant hot chocolate powder
Directions:
- Put the almonds into a dry frying pan and heat for about 1-2 minutes, then add 1 tablespoon water, along with the coffee powder and 1 tablespoon of the chocolate powder. Stir for a few moments until the liquid has evaporated and the almonds are coated, then remove from the heat and cool. Add the rest of the chocolate powder and toss to coat. Share between 4 little tins and take along for a nutritious, delicious snack.
TIP: You could leave out the coffee powder if you prefer a more chocolatey flavor – and for more intensity, use cocoa powder instead of instant hot chocolate, though add a little caster sugar too.
