Ingredients:
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 14.5 oz. can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
- ½ tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 bags frozen green beans, Italian cut
- To taste salt and pepper
Directions:
- In a large, deep skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Season with a bit of salt and pepper. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Do not remove bacon grease from skillet.
- Turn the heat down to medium-low and add sliced green onions to the bacon grease. Cook for about a minute and then add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Next, stir in green beans and diced tomatoes. Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 8 to 10 minutes until green beans are heated through.
- Crumble bacon over cooked green beans. Stir, then serve.
