Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of any crusty bread (French, sourdough, Italian) cut into 3/4 inch cubes
- 4 Tbsp of melted butter or olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp of parsley, dried.
- 1/2 tsp of peppered
- 1 cup of shreeded or grated cheese, Parmesan, Asiago, and Sharp Cheddar all work well.
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mason jar, add melted butter or oil and seasoning and shake to mix.
- Place bread cubes in a large mixing bowl. Pour mixture over bread cubes. Add in the cheese and toss to coat and evenly distribute the cheese.
- Place coated bread cubes in an even layer on your baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, stirring and turning after 5 minutes.
- Let cool completely. Then store in an air tight container for up to 1 week.
