Holiday Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. crescent roll dough (1 tube)
  • 8 oz. breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 1 cup Mexican cheese blend, shredded
  • 5 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F. Remove crescent rolls from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 15 minutes. Spray a cookie sheet pan with nonstick spray. For a deeper-dish pizza, use a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
  • Brown the sausage and onion in a skillet and drain.
  • Spread the crescent rolls onto the bottom of the prepared pan. You will have to press and work the dough a little to make sure it covers the pan and pinch the pieces together.
  • Spoon sausage and onions over the crust. Spread the hash browns over the meat. Sprinkle the cheese over the hash browns.
  • Combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper and Parmesan together in a separate bowl. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set.
