Ingredients:
- 6 large apples or 1 can of apple pie filling
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Ingredients for Topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 stick margarine softened
- 1/2 c nuts (optional)
Directions:
- If using fresh apples, peel and slice them and place in the bottom of deep buttered pan. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Mix well, to coat apples. If using apple pie filling, place in a deep buttered pan.
- Mix Topping ingredients together in a seperate bowl.
- Sprinkle over apples and bake 45 mins to 1 hour at 350.
