Ingredients:
- 2 9-by-9-by-2-inch foil pans
- 1 medium onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, very thinly sliced
- 1 1/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup real bacon bits
- 1/3 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions:
- Gather the ingredients. Spray a 9-by-9-by-2-inch foil pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place the first pan in a second foil pan for insulation.
- Place half the onions, potatoes, cheese, bacon bits and bell pepper in the top pan. Repeat layers. Top potatoes with melted butter.
- Cover tightly with foil and grill over medium heat for 1 hour, rotating the pan occasionally to avoid burning. Check potatoes and cook for additional time if needed.
