Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 10.5oz. can Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1 10.5oz. can Cream of Chicken soup
- 3 cups water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup uncooked rice
- 4-6 cups chow mein noodles (or amount more or less as desired)
Directions:
- Cook noodles and set aside. Brown the beef and onion until no longer pink. Add all other ingredients except the chow mien noodles. Put into a greased 3 qt. casserole dish, or other baking dish. Bake covered for 1 hour. Remove cover, top with chow mein noodles and bake uncovered for an additional 1/2 hour. Yield: Approximately 2 qts.
