Ingredients:
- 4 cups broccoli, diced small
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup celery diced small
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
- Cut the broccoli into small bite-size pieces and place the broccoli, butter, onion, celery, minced garlic, salt and pepper in the crock pot. Mix the chicken broth with the cornstarch and stir this mixture into the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
- After this cooking time, stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheese.
- Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted.
