Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp.each onion powder and garlic powder
  • 1 tsp.each salt, pepper and oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil, divided
  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
  • Individual Ingredient

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Measure the thickness of your pork chops so you know how long to bake them: 7 minutes for every 1/2 inch.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and oregano.
  3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over both sides of the pork chops. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over both sides of the pork chops and then place in a baking dish.
  4. Bake the pork chops uncovered until they reach an internal temperature of 145 F.
  5. Once you remove them from the oven, let them rest in the pan for 5 minutes before serving. Over baking will dry out so use your meat thermometer. Serve with side salad.
