Ingredients:
- 3 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 2 10 oz. cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. ground apple pie spice
- 12 oz. can or bottle lemon lime soda
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Chop each apple into eight wedges and set aside.
- Separate crescent roll dough into triangles. Roll each apple wedge in crescent roll dough starting at the smallest end. Pinch to seal and place in the prepared baking dish.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir sugar and cinnamon into melted butter until combined. Pour over apple dumplings, followed by soda.
- Bake until golden brown, 35 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream.
