Air Fryer Pepperoni Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced into half-moons
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more for brushing
- 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
- 4 oz. sliced pepperoni
- 12 pepperoncini, thinly sliced
- For dusting, all-purpose flour
- 1 lb. refrigerated pizza dough, halved, at room temp
- 8 slices provolone cheese, divided
- For drizzling honey
Directions:
- In a small bowl, toss onion with 2 tablespoons oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add pepperoni and pepperoncini and toss to combine.
- On lightly floured surface, shape each piece of dough to size of insert in bottom of air fryer basket.
- Remove air fryer insert and brush with oil. Place 1 piece of pizza dough on top.
- Return basket to air fryer and heat air fryer to 400 F; pizza dough will begin to cook as it heats.
- Once air fryer reaches 400 F, air-fry for 3 minutes. Using tongs, flip and air fry for 2 minutes more.
- Top pizza with four slices of provolone and half of pepperoni mixture. Air fry until crust is golden brown and crisp, 7 to 8 minutes more.
- Transfer to a cutting board and drizzle with honey. Repeat with remaining dough, cheese and toppings.
