Air Fryer Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced into half-moons
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more for brushing
  • 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 4 oz. sliced pepperoni
  • 12 pepperoncini, thinly sliced
  • For dusting, all-purpose flour
  • 1 lb. refrigerated pizza dough, halved, at room temp
  • 8 slices provolone cheese, divided
  • For drizzling honey

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, toss onion with 2 tablespoons oil and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add pepperoni and pepperoncini and toss to combine.
  2. On lightly floured surface, shape each piece of dough to size of insert in bottom of air fryer basket.
  3. Remove air fryer insert and brush with oil. Place 1 piece of pizza dough on top.
  4. Return basket to air fryer and heat air fryer to 400 F; pizza dough will begin to cook as it heats.
  5. Once air fryer reaches 400 F, air-fry for 3 minutes. Using tongs, flip and air fry for 2 minutes more.
  6. Top pizza with four slices of provolone and half of pepperoni mixture. Air fry until crust is golden brown and crisp, 7 to 8 minutes more.
  7. Transfer to a cutting board and drizzle with honey. Repeat with remaining dough, cheese and toppings.
