TOLEDO — Toledo Spring and Toledo Auto Electric, owned by Brad Rubini and located at 5015 Enterprise Blvd., Toledo, offers parts and service for trucks and trailers. They also rebuild starters, alternators and generators for farm and industrial.
Services
Other services include air brakes, suspension, steering, lighting (white light LED by GROTE), exhaust, U-joints and more.
The business is in its third generation, starting in 1932, and has 24 employees. It has moved and expanded several times over the years and is currently in the planning stages of expansion.
The parts business has grown tremendously, as more customers realize it is more than a spring shop and an auto electric shop, fueling the need for expansion.
The truck and transportation industry saw the need for safer equipment, so several years ago the company bought a brake dynamometer and a road simulator to help diagnose problems on trucks and trailers. This has saved customers hundreds of dollars in diagnostic time and made their equipment safer to operate.
Toledo Spring and Toledo Auto Electric is affiliated with HDA Truck Pride, with more than 700 locations and a coast-to-coast warranty on everything sold.
