Wanda M. DeLuca, 74 years of age, passed away Nov. 8 after a battle with cancer. Wanda was born Oct. 7, 1938 in Weston, W.Va., graduated from Weston High School in 1956, and was the daughter of the late Russell and Millie Rollyson.
Wanda was employed with the Sanford Davis Construction, Olympia Fitness Center, and the United States Census Bureau until retirement.
She was an avid collector and her passions in life were horses, horse shows, supporting 4-H, cooking, quilting, tractor truck pulls and raising her family.
She was a member of American Saddlebred Horse Association, American Saddlebred Association of Ohio and the United States Equestrian Federation, Arabian Horse Association, Arabian Association of Ohio, Ohio Half
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Joseph Edward Deluca; her children Tony A. DeLuca of Kent Ohio and Joni M. Stebner of Streetsboro, Ohio; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Dale Rollyson of Florida, and a sister, Kathleen Horner of Weston,W.Va.
She is preceded in death by William Rollyson, Waren Rollyson, James Buster Rollyson, Gene Rollyson and Robert Rollyson.
Services were scheduled for Nov. 10 at St. Patrick’s Church in Kent and on Memorial Day 2013 at her childhood residence on Middle Run Road, in Weston.
