CONNEAUT, Ohio — Rita K. Kibler, 57, died at 3:40 a.m. Aug. 23 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1954 in Conneaut, Ohio, a daughter of Richard A. Johnson and the late Marjorie B. Georgia Johnson.
Rita was a graduate of Norwayne High School and worked as a secretary for Kibler Dairy Farms. She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was a past president of Lordstown Garden Guild and 4-H adviser for many years.
She had a pink tractor that she entered in various parades and tractor pulling contests.
In addition to her husband, Garry Kibler, whom she married Aug. 3, 1974, Rita is survived by her father, Richard B. Johnson of Lordstown, sons, Garry Kibler Jr. of Lordstown and Cory Kibler of Lordstown, three grandchildren, and a brother, Scott R. Johnson of Conneaut.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie B. Johnson.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Aug. 26 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where Rev. Dee Emmert officiated. Calling hours were Aug. 25 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Lordstown Cemetery.
