GEORGETOWN, Pa. — Kenneth G. Moore, 73, died July 8, 2008, at the Medical Center of Beaver after a brief illness.
He was born July 8, 1935, in Hanover Township, Pa., a son of the late Kenneth C. Moore and Nina J. Moore Stewart.
He retired from the Pa. Department of Transportation and also owned K and N Trucking. He was a member of the Beaver Valley Antique Equipment and Crafts Association and the Washington-Greene County Antique Tractor Association. An avid antique tractor puller, he also owned two sleds that were used for tractor pulls throughout the region.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Moore, on March 28, 2002.
He is survived by a son, Kip Moore of New Cumberland, W.Va.; a daughter, Vickie Moore, of Norco, Calif.; stepdaughter Nancy Kay Reed of Burgettstown, Pa.; sister Norma Brandon of Georgetown, Pa.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother, Donald, died Sept. 22, 2008.
Pastor Paul Treese of the Wesleyan church officiated funeral services, with burial in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
