SPENCER, Ohio — Keith L. Wetmore, 54, of Spencer, Ohio, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, following a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident in Spencer Township late Wednesday evening.
He was born in Medina, Ohio, on May 15, 1956, to Glen and Beatrice Suter Wetmore.
He graduated from Buckeye High School in 1974, and received the Future Farmers of America State Farmers Degree. He had also been very active in 4-H.
A lifelong dairy farmer, he and his brothers operated the farm his parents had started in York Township before moving to Spencer in 1974. He was past president of the Northeast Ohio Ayrshire Association, and was a member of the Ohio Guernsey Association.
He is survived by a sister, Karen Bihn of Medina, and a brother, Kenneth Wetmore of Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kevin.
A graveside service was to be held Wednesday, Sept. 15 at Spencer Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Tim Morrison.
There were no calling hours. Arrangements were handled by Parker & Son Funeral Home, Spencer.
