REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Burial for A. Karen Johnson, 73, Redwood City, Calif., was held March 17 at 1:30 p.m., at the Smith Township Cemetery, N. Benton.
A private family viewing and funeral service was held Monday morning at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
Karen died Feb. 22 at 4 a.m. at åher home in Redwood, with her longtime caregiver, Ruth Alcantar.
She was born Nov. 28, 1940, in Frametown, W.Va., the daughter of the late John Franklin and Myra Victoria (Craft) Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Curt, Frank, Clyde, Christine and David Tinley and Joanna Goff.; siblings Sharen (Ken) O’Brock, of N. Benton, Walter (Maridel) Jackson, of Iowa, and George Johnson, of Carrollton, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Chuck McLaughlin.
