BOLIVAR, Ohio — Frank Habrun, 88, of Bolivar, died Aug. 12, 2011, in his home following a brief illness.
He was born March 23, 1923, in North Industry, Ohio, to the late John and Agnes (Zabojnik) Habrun.
Habrun was a life resident of the East Sparta and Bolivar area and had attended Canton Township High School. He was a self-employed dairy farmer his entire life.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Crawford) Habrun in 2008; two sons, Don and Dean Habrun; two brothers, John and Joseph Habrun; four sisters, Mary Bennett, Helen Danay, Pauline Herbert and Agnes Meyer.
He is survived by four children and their spouses, Dennis Habrun, of Strasburg; Nancy Spillman, of Bolivar; Gary Habrun, of Beach City; Todd Habrun, of Bolivar; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law; two sisters and a brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Aug. 16, 2011, in the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Dixie Hendricks officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
