DALTON, Ohio — The auction crew from Kiko Classic Car Auctions hosted their Fall Classic Car Auction at the Buckeye Event Center Nov. 20 in Dalton, Ohio. More than 450 bidders, sellers and curious classic car buffs watched as 35 classic vehicles were sold.
The auction began with memorabilia pieces and two classic pedal cars then the 35 classic vehicles were offered next at absolute auction. Vehicles included something for everyone from a 1959 Volkswagen dune buggy and two Chevrolet Tin Woodies to a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro and a 1947 Ford pickup.
Highlights of the auction included a 1952 Chevrolet Tin Woodie that sold for $20,350, a 1951 Chevrolet Tin Woodie that sold for $15,960 and a 1967 Chevrolet Corvair that sold for $15,400.
The Ohio law allowing multiple owners of classic vehicles to combine their vehicles into a large scale auction, like those seen on TV, changed in 2009.
