PELLA, Iowa — Lely, the world leader in robotic milking systems, has entered a marketing agreement with W.G. Dairy Supply, Inc., a leading milking equipment company headquartered in Creston, Ohio.
As part of the agreement, W.G. Dairy Supply will have exclusive rights to sell and service Lely robotic milking equipment in Central and Eastern Ohio.
Key partnership
“Ohio is a key dairy farming market for Lely, and we’re extremely excited to be partnering with W.G. Dairy Supply to bring our state-of-the-art Astronaut A3 robotic milking systems to dairy producers in this region,” said Peter Langebeeke, president of Lely USA.
As a Lely Center Dealer, W.G. Dairy Supply will sell the Astronaut A3 robotic milking system as well as handle installation, maintenance and service calls with Lely-certified technicians.
According to Donna Gasser, owner and president of W.G. Dairy Supply, the decision to become a Lely Center Dealer was a logical step for the company.
“We are constantly looking for ways to help our farmers enhance the productivity and profitability of their dairy operations, particularly as our farmers struggle with labor issues. Lely’s continual research and development of advanced robotic milking technology over the years demonstrates a commitment to technological innovation for the betterment of dairy farming that we want to be part of,” she said.
