CANFIELD, Ohio — The Northeastern Ohio Forestry Association’s Oct. 25 meeting will address the topic of income tax treatment of timber management practices.
Joe Ledford and Kellie Hanas, CPA’s from Hill, Barth & King’s Meadville, Pa. office will provide advice on reporting woodland management income and expenses.
If you have been thinking about selling timber, this meeting will provide an update on the current status of capital gains rates as they relate to timber and what our politicians in Washington plan to do with the capital gains rate in 2011 and beyond.
