JEFFERSON, Ohio — In an effort to connect consumers with local agricultural producers, the OSU Extension offices in Ashtabula and Trumbull counties are conducting a comprehensive local foods inventory.
This inventory will help OSU Extension develop a print and online directory to help consumers access and buy local foods.
Any Ashtabula or Trumbull county business that grows, produces and markets fruit, vegetables, maple syrup, meat products, maple syrup, and cottage food products are encouraged to complete this survey.
Producers who operate an on-farm or roadside market, sell at a local farmers market, sell wholesale, or offer Community Support Agricultural (CSA) packages for consumers to also complete the survey.
Online survey
This survey can be accessed at the Ashtabula County OSU Extension Web site, http://ashtabula.osu.edu, or the Trumbull County Extension Web site, http://trumbull.osu.edu/.
