COVINGTON, Ohio — Ohio State University Extension is holding a free field day on fertilizer application July 11, at Covington High School, 807 Chestnut St.
Indoor exhibits will open at 8:30 a.m. with the educational program starting at 9 a.m. Speakers include Ohio State Extension and Purdue University experts.
A drone demonstration will highlight how producers can use imagery to guide management decisions.
The afternoon events will take place on a nearby farm, where lunch will be provided. Directions to the farm will be available on-site.
Participants will meet the requirements for Fertilizer Applicator Certification.
