LEESPORT, Pa. — The Penn State Extension Dairy Team is offering a free online seminar for dairy producers with grazing systems to help reduce input costs and increase profit margin per cow.

The webinar is scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 10. Registration is free.

“Grazing Guides for Dairy System: Diversified Grazing System” will cover current research and basic management issues of interest to experience, novice, conventional and/or organic dairy grazers and industry representatives who support them.

A second webinar will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. April 6.

“Grazing Guides for Dairy Systems Webinar Series: Gaining Control of Parasite Issues in Grazing Systems” will focus on tall grass grazing, a popular management practice for beef cattle.

This webinar series qualifies for one SmartStart credits for every two webinars from AgChoice Farm Credit.
