COLUMBUS — Landowners enrolled in Ohio’s Current Agricultural Use Valuation program can learn about the factors behind recent higher CAUV values in an online meeting hosted by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.
The Web session takes place Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and is open to farm bureau members only.Leah Curtis, Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s director of legal education, will explain how the CAUV program values property based upon its agriculture income-producing value and describe CAUV’s objective calculation process. Curtis also will respond to questions.
Ohio farm bureau has been engaged in the CAUV program since its inception in 1975 and strives to protect the program while making sure its members understand it.
