One of the ways that women are protecting themselves against violence and crime is by obtaining a concealed carry permit.
WOWK-TV reports that there has been a 77 percent increase in the number of women who have gotten concealed carry permits since 2008, according to the National Rifle Association of America
Taking a concealed carry class should come with the realization that having a gun is not something to be taken lightly. Women — and men — should be prepared to take on the responsibility of carrying a concealed weapon and obey the laws and regulations surrounding them.
