ASHLAND, Ohio — The North Central Ohio Landowners Association is forming to work for fair leasing negotiations across the length of a proposed Sunoco Pipeline.
The group’s intent is to address the pending proposal made by Sunoco Pipeline L.P., Eastern Area Headquarters, and is developing a central committee with four chapters or local associations.
The Ashland association was established at the end of April and was joined in mid-May by Huron associates. They anticipate Seneca and Wayne counties to either form their own associating chapter or to join within another county’s chapter.
Each chapter within the association will have two members that will be designated to carry the message to their area. A draft copy for joining the NCOLA was recently approved for the members, and, pending revisions, is expected to be available at future meetings.
