Meyer named Ohio Yieldmaster for corn numbers

WEST BEND, Wis. — Dairyland Seed recently announced the national and state winners for its annual Corn and Soybean Yieldmaster Contests.

Ohio winner

Bob Meyer of Napoleon, Ohio, was named the Ohio Corn Yieldmaster. Meyer had a yield of 208.8 bushels per acre with Stealth-9615.

The title of National Corn Yield master was awarded to Roger and Brian Steiger of Delavan, Ill. The had a yield of 276.72 bushels per acre with Stealth-9615.

Alan Wagner of Orchard, lowa, was awarded National Soybean Yieldmaster with a yield of 77.8 bushels per acre with DSR-2300/RR.

The Early Zone Soybean Yieldmaster was awarded to Maim-Cole Farms of Langford, S.D., with a yield of 62.10 bushels per acre with DSR-1302/RRSTS, and the Early Zone Corn Yieldmaster was awarded to Faldet Farms of lola, Wis., who entered Stealth-7201 with a yield of 222.66 bushels.
