Editor:
The 2009 annual Harrison County Junior Fair Livestock Sale has come and gone, and was a tremendous success.
A special thanks goes out to all 4-H and FFA exhibitors. The hard work and dedication you have shown throughout the year was well advertised throughout the sale.
You all deserve a pat on the back for your high levels of responsibility, teamwork and constructive competition.
We would especially like to thank the Harrison County Junior, Senior Fairboard members and the fairgrounds improvement committee.
To all of the sale auctioneers, Carroll County sale committee and ringmen: thank you for all of the time and energy put into your assignments on sale night.
Finally, special thanks are paid to the Harrison County Junior Fair Livestock Sale buyers.
The Junior Fair Livestock Sale is the end result of lengthy 4-H and FFA livestock projects selected by Harrison County youth.
These FFA and 4-H projects are a combination of hard work, family dedication, book knowledge, showmanship and friendly competition.
The youth gain immeasurable responsibility, knowledge and teamwork skills throughout the time spent with these animals.
