BRODHEAD, Wis. — Kuhn’s two U.S. companies, Kuhn Farm Machinery, Inc. and Kuhn Knight, Inc. merged Jan. 1 to create Kuhn North America, Inc.

This new chapter in Kuhn’s history concludes the five-year integration process planned for Kuhn Knight, Inc., following the purchase of the company by Kuhn Group in December 2002.

Integration

This integration process occurred progressively and smoothly, and resulted in the positive development of all business lines in North America, thus surpassing the plans set at the time of the acquisition.

Thierry Krier, president and CEO said this merger has no impact whatsoever on the business growth strategy of marketing two groups of product lines under the brands “Kuhn” and “Kuhn Knight” through two dealer network organizations.

Neither does it affect the ability to distribute products regionally through six regional distribution centers nor does it affect employee staffing levels.

Kuhn is a leader in the field of agricultural and industrial equipment, specializing in spreaders, mixers, hay tools and tillage tools.
