PLYMOUTH, Ohio — The Richland County Fair held in early August was a success for the Plymouth FFA chapter.

Plymouth FFA students with outstanding supervised agricultural experience projects include the following:

Kadie Shepherd: reserve champion beef feeder; Zach Arnold: dairy feeder, first place in class; Molly Miller: dairy feeder, first place in two classes; Levi Myers: draft horse single hitch-first place, draft horse team hitch, first place, draft pony halter showmanship, first place, draft horse halter showmanship, first place; Molly Snyder: barrel racing, first place in two classes; Megan Burrer; dairy goat, third place in class; Brandon Kanney: Boer goats, third place in class; Levi Myers: draft horse junior showmanship cart, second place, draft horse junior showmanship team, third place, draft horse halter showmanship, third place, market hog, third in class, market hog showmanship, second place. Molly Snyder: equine free style, sixth place; Kadie Shepherd: beef steer, second in class.

2010 Junior Fair Outstanding Exhibitors include: Morgan Baker Jarred Donnersbach, Alex Mowry, Steven Rowe, Kadie Shepherd.

HILLSDALE, Ohio — The Hillsdale FFA chapter held its annual summer picnic Aug. 1. There were 28 members, along with their families, present at the picnic.

Student participated in ice breaker games to allow new members the opportunity to get acquainted with the upperclassmen.

WATERFORD, Ohio — Cameron Bookman of the Waterford FFA Chapter was selected to perform baritone in the National FFA Band at the 83rd National FFA Convention.

He was selected out of a pool of more than 200 applicants.
