GNADENHUTTEN, Ohio — The general livestock contest was held April 2 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus.

The contest consisted of judging pigs, cows and sheep. The Indian Valley FFA team was ranked 98th of 147 teams.

Matt Dauch was first for the team, Cassie Glazer was second, Tanner Bardall was third and Dalton Sprowl was fourth.

The equine contest was also held April 2 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus. The contest consisted of judging mares, geldings, hunt under saddle, hay, identify equipment and an exam.

The team was ranked 46th of 124 teams. Breanna Bolon was first for the team, KaraLin Gray was second, Ashley Decker was third and Corey Chrisman was fourth.

ALBANY, Ohio — The Alexander Livestock Evaluation Team competed at the state level April 2.

The team included: Jed Anderson, Frank Bail, Austin Crabtree, Caitlyn Mullins and Whitney Mullins.

The Alexander Horse Judging Team also competed at the state level April 2. The members of the team were Kim Holcomb and Jessie Sinclair.
