JEROMESVILLE, Ohio — The 2016-2017 Hillsdale FFA officers retreat was June 12-13 at Grand Lake St. Mary’s State Park. The officer team also traveled to St. Mary’s High School with ideas for the chapter’s upcoming year. The Hillsdale FFA chapter sent five member delegates to the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.
Blayne Bartter and Braxton Slagle represented the chapter for week one. Alex Becker, Libby Hohler and Maryellen Bliss attended the second week. The delegates for both weeks experienced riding a train from Ohio to Washington and taking the Metro in the city.

PLYMOUTH, Ohio — The 2016-2017 Plymouth FFA officer retreat was June 2 in Hocking Hills, Ohio. Officer team members include: Douglas Reer, president; Emily Kanney, vice president; Jacob Echelbarger, secretary; Joy Miller, treasurer; Madeline Baker, reporter; Haley Felty, sentinel; and Claudia Caudill, student adviser.
FFA members participated in team building and leadership activities such as: horseback riding, canoeing and a team mile hike, and concluded the retreat with a trip to the Columbus Zoo. The officer team plans to encourage new membership and participation in FFA events throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
