SALEM, Ohio — The Sew Sew Sweet 4-H Club met June, 2 for a monthly business meeting. Twelve members and six guests were present and 6 guests were in attendance.

Members discussed the style review July 16, at 1 p.m., and narration cards were distributed to everyone participating.

As a community service project, members will be sending sewing supplies to children in Africa. A community member who is planning on going to Africa will serve as a contact for the donation.

The group will begin meeting every Wednesday in the summer in order to finish sewing for Style Review. The next meeting is July 7 at 2 p.m.

BURTON, Ohio — At is May meeting, the Flockmasters 4-H Club members learned about proper medication techniques and tools for giving different medicine to sheep. They also learned safety tips for when we find wild animals and stray pets.

Members are collecting denim clothing to be shredded for insulation through Blue to Green and old tennis shoes for Nike Reuse-a-Shoe.

The group had a mini-club lamb camp, to learn how to halter break and show our lambs, and have them shorn.

Some members will be going to 4-H camp, as both campers and counselors, this summer.
