COLUMBUS — Kameron Wise, a New Philadelphia senior, will represent Tuscarawas County as a member of the Ohio 4-H Fashion Board in Columbus. Wise is a nine-year 4-H member of the Crooked Run Cloverstitchers 4-H Club.
In addition to taking sewing projects for the past seven years, she has taken a variety of other projects including market steer, hog, and beef breeding projects. She is the daughter of Todd and Stacee Wise, of New Philadelphia.
Wise also currently serves on the Tuscarawas County 4-H Food and Fashion Board.
This year’s state Fashion Board is comprised of 16 teens from all across Ohio who have demonstrated excellence in their 4-H clothing projects. Selection was based on individual interviews and a round robin series of small group conversations.
Wise’s duties will include assisting in conducting the Ohio State Fair 4-H Fashion Revue, 4-H clothing workshop sessions, and 4-H clothing project promotion, as well as other events planned by the 4-H clothing committee.
