CHARDON, Ohio — Granny’s Kids 4-H club met April 19 at the Arnold’s house. Members talked about what they needed for the Maple Festival float, which was on display April 25.

 
The senior yard cleanup will be May 2 at 1 p.m.

 
Members all received their calendars and the roster will be given out next meeting. Members also discussed the animal weigh-in and market goat tagging date, which is May 16.

 
The dairy goat show is May 16- 17. Showmanship is at 9 a.m. May 16. The next meeting is scheduled for May 31 at 7 p.m., at Mrs. Kitko’s home.

BOWERSTOWN, Ohio — The Silver Spurs 4-H club met April 12 at Bowerston Public Library with 23 members present. The club made a couple decisions on the booth for the Harrison County Fair.

 
Natalie Shuss showed the group how to tie a knot for animals at the fair. The club won third place in the window designs, at the Bowerston Library.

 
Some members gave presentations on their projects. Garret George and Dustin Willloubghby presented different kinds of pigs; Gabby Rice and Gracie George did a presentation on show goats; Kacey Bingles presented facts about pigs; and Layne Bingles talked about different breads of pigs.

 
The next meeting is May 17 at 6 p.m., at the Bowerston Public Library.
