VAN WERT, Ohio — The Farm Focus Committee has set the date for the 2008 field day for July 29 at the Marsh Foundation Farm.
Topics for this year’s field day will focus on evaluating soil structure and compaction; field demonstrations featuring manure application as well as other new equipment; and discussion concerning crop input costs and grain prices.
Activities
Economists, demonstrators and industry experts are being lined up to provide up-to-date information surrounding these current agricultural topics. Field demonstrations from local dealers as well as access to the Farm Focus research plots will be available that day.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the shuttles leaving from the parking lot at 8:45 a.m. to take visitors out to various sessions being held at the site.
