CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Eastern Ohio Grazing Council has scheduled a winter meeting Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Carrollton Ponderosa Steakhouse, 1117 Canton Rd NW, Carrollton.
Participants can eat before the workshop begins, at their own expense.
The agenda will focus on pasture weeds. Topics will include weeds and how they grow, weed identification, weed prevention techniques, and controlling the weeds that we have. Speakers will include Sandy Smith, OSU Extension; Wendee Zadanski, Jefferson SWCD; Clint Finney, USDA-NRCS; and Beth Kruprzak, USDA-NRCS.
