The Columbus Dispatch reports that when fall and winter come around in Ohio, duck hunters should be in luck. This year’s duck population is projected to be the highest it’s been since 1955, according to surveys conducted in the spring.
From The Columbus Dispatch:
“The breeding duck population this past spring was estimated to be 49.2 million, a notch above the previous record set in 2012 and 8 percent higher than last year’s estimate of 45.6 million.”
