CANTON, Ohio — The Stark County Park District is opening the doors of its interactive Canalway Center at Sippo Lake Park for free in February to families and individuals. Group rates still apply.
The Center at 5712 12th St. N.W., inside the Exploration Gateway, tells the story of Stark County’s early history using interactive exhibits and displays.
Binoculars and bird identification guides are available for guests to look for migrating waterfowl at Sippo Lake.
Hours
The 4,300-square-foot Canalway Center opened in 2008. Current hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sundays, 1-4 p.m.
