BURBANK, Ohio — Friends of Ohio Barns is preparing for the 12th annual Ohio Barn Conference April 29 and 30 in Lancaster, Ohio.
The weekend will begin with a day-long coach bus tour Friday. A highlight of the tour will be Rock Mill, a restored gristmill on the rock gorge bank of the Hocking River.
Conference
Saturday will be a day of presentations, displays and demonstrations. It will be held at Crossroads Conference Center in Lancaster.
The keynote speaker is Randy Nash. Nash has worked for many years promoting the preservation of New York barns.
There will be information on farm grants, tax incentives, a silent auction, history of Fairfield County and the Erie Canal and the Junior Barn Detective program.

Discounts for registration are available through March 31. Full conference early rates are $110 for friends members or $135 for nonmembers. For Saturday only registration, it is $80 for members and $100 for nonmembers. Member spouses rates are $90 for the full conference and $70 for the Saturday only rate. Nonmember spouses will need to pay $115 for the full conference and $90 for the Saturday only rate.
The full conference package includes the bus tour, morning coffee and doughnuts, catered lunch, tour booklet, conference presentations, conference booklet, continental breakfast and buffet lunch. Saturday only package includes conference presentations, conference booklet, continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
