WOOSTER, Ohio — Farmers who want to install an anaerobic digester should act quickly to receive financial assistance.
Quasar Energy Group, a Cleveland based company with projects in Wooster and throughout the state, is matching $25,000 of USDA grant money, on digester projects secured in writing by Tuesday, Oct. 5.
The federal government is offering a 30 percent grant for projects initiated by the end of 2010, but farm owners who want financial assistance from Quasar, a company that builds and operates digestion facilities, should contact the company directly.
