Ammonia storage tank sells for $36,500 at Schrader auction

UNION CITY, Ohio — Auctioneer Jim Hayworth of Schrader Real Estate & Auction Co., Inc. held an auction March 2 in Union City, Ohio.

Results

The highest selling item at the auction was a 30,000-gallon NH3 (ammonia) storage tank that sold for $36,500. Other top sellers included a Rogator 854 that went for $26,000, an 18,000-gallon NH3 storage tank that sold for $23,000 and a Ford L8000 bulk feed truck that sold for $22,500.

MEDINA, OhioEstes Auction held their monthly radio auction Feb. 26 at the Expo Auction Center in Burbank.

Results

The highest selling item of the auction was a 1930s McMurdo Silver Masterpiece VI Radio that sold for $5,400. Other top selling items included a Jensen 15-inch speaker manufactured by Western Electric that sold for $2,200; a Kennedy Type 281 that sold for $500; a Kennedy Type 220 that sold for $475; a Military Zenith Transoceanic $500; Radiotrontype 250 Tube $220; a Westinghouse Type RA that sold for $350; a Zenith 75258 that sold for $200; a WWII BC 14-A Parts Set that sold for $300; and a KLM Noise Reducer that sold for $300.
