Agri-Women farm tour focuses on sustainability

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia Agri-Women, a state-wide organization aimed at assisting females in the industry and those just starting out, will hold their summer quarterly meeting and farm tour Aug. 27 beginning at 2 p.m., at the Delaware Valley Llama Farm in Mountain.

Open to members and the public, the afternoon starts with a tour of the farm and a mock whole farm review conducted by WVU Extension.

The tour winds up at 4 p.m. with a picnic; quarterly meeting to follow.
