MILLERSBURG, Ohio — On June 30-July 1, the West Holmes FFA officer team held an officer retreat at Smith Pleasant Valley Campgrounds.
After setting up their campsites, the officers discussed characteristics of a leader, and then had one-on-one interviews with a partner and then introduced that individual to the group.
Activities also focused on prioritizing individual responsibilities and team events. After dinner, members discussed chapter plans and activities. Members also talked about what they thought was great and what needs improvement.
The next day, the officers talked about what each office entailed. Among other activities, they also identified five things that they needed to do to be done to be a better officer team.
