Hello Again!
Wow … it is always good to be with family and friends during the holiday season and how nice it feels to have a new pair of gloves to wear to the barn.
You know I never think of myself as a fashion statement, but I am particular on what pair of gloves are left in the basket for me to wear. I am partial to an old yellow pair of cow skin gloves lined with red flannel.
I’m telling you my hands should be the only ones that fit those gloves. … And I have still had to search for them at times. Our hands at the FSA offices have been punching computer keyboards, updating your planting history and inputting your yield production history.
The ARC/PLC program allows you as the farmers the opportunity to update your bases and update your yield; however, you are not permitted to increase your overall base.
You will need to review the information with the FSA staff on an individual farm basis to determine which options are best for you.
There are numerous farm bill meetings being held statewide and I would encourage you to attend one to enhance your knowledge on the ARC/PLC program.
That’s All for Now,
FSA Andy
