LISBON, Ohio — The Columbiana County Agricultural Society razed the old grandstands at the Columbiana County Fairgrounds Dec. 14 to make way for a new grandstands to be in place before the 2014 fair.
The $750,000 renovation, which includes a new 2,400-seat grandstands, is part of the society’s $900,000 capital campaign.

Columbiana County Fair faithful, including Elwood (“Woody” Woolman and Carol Aegerter, took a section of the numbered sears from the razed grandstands as souvenirs. 
Congrats to the Fairboard for their forward thinking–replacing fixing up and improving the grandstand.
